Well since no one else commented...

Give your commander a MP and PR. The fancy stuff isn't "better" by any means.

I don't think much of warfish, just too easy to kill.

You don't have any real sacrifice troops and you aren't supporting your different teams very well.

Where are the kroot, the piranhas, and the markerlight units?

Hmm, do you think I should give up a crisis squad or two to make room for a stealth markerlight squad? Thanks for the feedback so far.
and If you have any ideas you would like to contribute please feel free to post them, and on another note, please tell me more about the piranha.

I agree with Stelek on the commander. At 1500, I run two Shas'els with MP/PR, TA and HWMT. I only run warfish in higher points games. 1500 is too tight for the fun stuff, including stealth markerlight teams. The effective ones are pricey. I have run them, but they take away an elite slot that you really need for regular stealths or suits. Drop the warfish, take min FW units (possibly with a markerlight, but only if points allow), and get 2-3 units of 10 kroot as throw-away/pillbox units. You should have enough points left over for at least another Shas'el, maybe for more Crisis suits. 3 Railheads is still enough skimmers to form a wall if you need to, and the large blasts will deal with hordes nicely.

The piranha is awesome for Tau.

I use it to suicide in front of a ground slogging assault army, and force them to not move a turn.

Works against everybody. Since it's a skimmer, I shoot under it and smash what's there. Then you kill my skimmers, and so...what? lol

I believe FW are only good for bringing markerlights to the party. Do they actually kill anything? NO! So bring more crisis suits, support them with FW and have kroot around to stop assaults. Works well.

I use 2 railheads, a bunch of suits, what FW/kroot/piranhas I can fit, and a couple heavy slot stealth teams. They add long range anti-tank/anti-marine fire, and additional markerlights...and people can't shoot them.

It's highly effective. I'm slowly upgrading my kroot units to 10 kroot/8 hounds as the hounds are I5. Really makes a difference when you pound marines first.

I don't like the idea of 2-man suit teams.
If one gets killed then your taking those damn "I stand alone", test every round.

Thats why I usually run them with 2 shield drones, both on the team leader. The footprint is still small enough to hide on the assault move if necessary, and adds numbers and alot of toughness to the unit. 169pts for the unit isn't bad, considering the firepower and resilience it brings to the table. Also keeps them alive longer if you end up with nowhere to hide them.

I guess I'm different from alot of Tau players in that I don't rely on markerlights. My suits that get wargear take TA, since I don't use many troop units that can even carry markerlights.

I don't own any heavy sniper teams or kroot hounds. I can see how 3 teams would help alot with all that str6 ap3 and 3 markerlights. Personally, I field the minimum 6 fire warriors, since kroot work for me so much better. I've been in situations where the hounds would help, but at 70 points for the squad, they are pretty much a throw-away unit. I like piranhas, but in 1500 points, I just don't know where to fit them in without sacrificing the necessary suits or railheads. Ideas?

So, would taking out warfishes and taking another squad of firewarriors work for my markerlight needs? Would you suggest taking the 3rd crisis team and transfer its members to the other teams? and from there would taking a stealth marker team be helpful?

I'd seriously look at steering away from that stealth markerlight team at 1500 pts. It's alot of points, but more importantly, where else in the list are you going to be able to make up for that loss of firepower from your elites? Either take 3 units of crisis suits like you have there, or 2 units and 1 unit of regular stealth. I usually run 4 stealth with t/a. Small enough to hide, enough firepower to concern your enemy.
