Well that's no fun for Stelek.
Get rid of the Burst Cannon on your commander and as much as Fire Knives are pet peeve of mine, give him a Plasma Rifle. And get rid of the Iridium armour too. I shouldn't have to tell you why if you've ever played Tau, wether for or against.

I'd like to use the forgeworld model I got second hand, and that's how he's all set up, and I didn't get any extra weapons.

But, if I were to drop it, and just use a standard suit, you think I should give him a plasma rifle? Would that consume all the points?

It's only something like 8 points more for the Plasma Rifle. I think Iridium Armour is around 20 points? I love the FW model too, so if you don't mind sacrificing style for play I'm not gonna stop you. Just know it's a big drop in playability that I would think worth converting the model. Don't have any extra PRs from a Broadside or something?

I could drop iridium armor and take the hit and run ability...while still keeping the closer range weapons?

Missle Pod is long range, but if keeping the Burst Cannon is that neccesary, then sure, that would be a viable option. I'd replace it with the PR if it was at all possible though, because Burst Cannons jump can't compete with Plasma Rifles. You'll want your Shas'O firing at expensive targets, not cheap infantry.
Drop the iridium armor for sure, and Vectored Retro Thrusters are up to you.

Those pathfinders are game-losers.
If you don't want to change your list, we don't mind.
You cannot win with so many vulnerable ground units on the board and so many firepower units not on it.
Just my 2 cents anyway.

Where to start. This list looks like you went a little heavy on the wargear and not the warm bodies.
The Shas'o. I don't like it. Without a MT he can only shoot either the burst cannon or the missile launcher. Sure he has the wargear to keep him alive, but he isn't going to do much all game either.
I'd drop the iridium armor for the vector jump jets. He can move faster and always get out of harms way. WS 4, T4, W4, 3+ sv, means he can probably live through a charge to use the Hit and run. I'd also drop the injector in favor of a MT so he can always use all of his guns.
Next I feel that your markerlights are too spread out. I count 13, but those are in 3 squads. Worse you only have 6 in any one unit. Your not going to get enough hits against any one target to make them all that effective. It gets even more counter productive if you have to devote both your pathfinder squads to hitting the same unit to get the extra light hits. Also you only have 8 units that can really use them. Not to mention only 4 seekers. I think you will find yourself with marker light hits that just arn't used, or not enough to really help put the hurt on. Personally I'd only take one full unit of pathfinders, add the shas'ui and give him two more marker light drones if you really need them. That will give you 10 in that unit, plus your one in the firewarrior squad. You can then use the extra points to do lots of things with. Get another HQ suit, get some gun drones, get a pirahna. But do something to get more guns on the table.
On hammerheads I'm not a fan of the flechette discharger. My hammerheads don't tankshock. They tend to hang back and use the superior range of the railgun and hiding ability that the SMS system offers. I rarely have ever found the need to run them forward into harms way to tankshock. Devilfish on the other hand, thats a different story. A sacrifical non-scoring unit. Why not run them up the gut of the enemy. However if that is your plan, I'd drop the SMS system, TA, TL, and MT. I don't take wargear for just in case. The game isn't long enough for just in case. Give your unit a single job, and have them do it well. If your going to tankshock with a devilfish, your putting it out front in harms way. Flechette launchers work. Everything else is free points as the tank is now sitting in range of the entirity of your enemies army. However, you hang it back and hide as the SMS system suggests, there is no tankshocking happening, so why waste the points on the flechette launchers.
As the the Kroot, why the hounds? And if the hounds why only 2. Personally I'd make them actual kroot so that they can shoot their guns. Hounds work, but only in large numbers where their higher initiative will actually matter.

You keep saying tank shock. I don't tank shock. The flechette launchers are for one people assault them. And it does happen.
As for the pathfinders, alright, those can go, no problem.

Again, loose the Burst Cannons. They're not for Crisis suits of any kind. If you're going to have that many shield drones try to pack a close range punch. Throw down some Helios suits(Plasma/Fusion) for your command to make use of the shield drones.
I'm not sure about the command node, never really thought of it as useful. If your suits are in sight to be shot at and need a leadership check then it's going to be your HQ squad that gets shot at, not your other suits. And your other suits will be hanging back most likely whereas your HQ will be further up the field. Chuck the CC Node.
Get rid of the Stim Injectors too, that squad has enough wounds to begin with anyways, and you'll be getting insta-killed if anything. After the shield drones are gone of course.
If you have enough points whip out another Shas'O.

Woops, I mistook the Positional Relay for a CC Node.
