In my quest to magentize all my skaven I discovered something called steel paper, but I'm not sure what it is or where to get it. Apparently it is much more flexible than a galvanized tin sheet and also magentic - sounds idea for magentizing my movement trays! Can anyone tell me more?

I have used them and they work great on models that are plastic (Or small metal infantry models that aren't too heavy).

You can find paper steel at a company called "renaissance ink".

What paper steel is:

A thin ferrous sheet sandwiched between two pieces of paper. You cut it out with scissors in the shape you need, glue them to the base (It isnt noticeably thick) and then stick them to a magnetic sheet.

You can use these on heavier models, if you use rare earth magnets in the place you store your models. Magnets may vary in strength, but steel is steel. Its constant. Its as magnetic as the magnets you adhere them to.

#20697 Paper Steel 2 8x11 sheets $10.95 - Looks like paper acts like Steel! 2 8x11 sheets. This may be cut with scissors or craft knife. Use for Figure Box, Unit Trays or base bottoms.

It's not dirt cheep, but you could probably line an entire armies worth of of movement trays with 2 8x11 sheets

I just ordered 2 sheets of RI's Paper Steel. I'll post a review of it once I get it.

I have to ask, how is this better than thin sheet steel?

Because I can mail order it and pay with Paypal off of that link and cut it with regular scissors. While I don't know where to buy thin steel sheet that would likely require metal snips, that I don't own, that would require further research, expense, and shipping and handling

Going to Home Depo and getting a pair or heavy scissors.

Just because anyone agrees with anyone, doesn't mean they are correct. Beware the thin line between what is "Correct" and what is "Popular."
