I am a war hammer player and I bought a few things when prime redux came out. The starter pack some wracks zealots and a monolith bearer. Plus feora ad raza and some deliverers. I had more but alot of pieces were lost in a car accident and that's all I got left. Since I had only bought the models to get into the game I decided to write it off as a loss but now have the money and interest to get back into it. What I am asking is that can I get a little guidance on what to invest in as a whole. I played a few games and got murdered everytime by my friends shooty list Khador and Cygnar. I would like to get the castigator and am not sure other than that. I would appreciate any input.

How long do you have to get out of a mine field?

The rest of your life.

Get a unit of choir to help protect your jacks, maybe two. Max out the Zealot unit.

I would play a bunch of games with Kreoss, he's probably the most powerful of what you have. Feora would be second, and then Ad Raza. I love the Ad Raza mini and fluff, but he's not a top-line caster and takes a lot of practice to play well.

Basic strategy with Kreoss. Get the enemy caster out in the open. Use Feat to KD caster. Hit with Deliverers and Redeemer. Kill caster. Rinse and repeat.

Get yourself a choir and have them sing Safe Passage, which does not allow a jack to be fired at.

Get Vilmon and two Paladins and send them over the battlefield to your enemy, and watch with amusement as Vilmon tears everything apart. Just be sure to read the FAQ about the Vil first.

A unit of Zealots and a Monolith Bearer should make your opponent take notice. A unit of guys that firebomb anything that gets too close is awesome, and when one of them dies the rest get more DEF and ARM.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil
