Hi, I couldn't find anything when I had a (admittedly brief) skim through the search engine. I have noticed that a lot of people are making titans and the like since Apocalypse came out and I have been thinking of doing the same. Reading some of the logs, I have seen that people often make moulds of certain components to make them symmetrical or for general ease of not having to make the same bit a million times. My question is, what is the most recommended mould making material and resin available here in the UK? I know hobbymoulds has been suggested but they are US based and would cost a lot to have imported. What stuff is the UK equivalent?

Cheers in advance, DS

If I remeber right, I do believe that alumilite has world-wide distributors. Hope that helped:p

£10-£15 for a pot of SILIGUM, a two part material like blutack that sets in 5 minutes to a rubber mould quality, flexible and easy to use.

You can get this from Hobbycraft, THE RANGE, or many Good Craft shops

Two part resin is what i use, the stuff from Halfords. Sets in 20 mins but stinks to heaven, use outside and wear a mask when sanding because the dust is highly toxic!

Thanks for the replies guys, but I was thinking of the pouring stuff. Regarding that blue tac type stuff, does that really capture a lot of detail? - I would have thought it would not get into any gaps very well or does it expand or something as it sets?
