My friend and I are planning to unleash Khorne on the Imperium. We want to abuse the Daemon Weapon (Blood Feeder).So we will have about 4-7 Chaos Lords out there all running one. We each have limit of 3000 pts. We are also trying to run the Khorne unholy number of 8 for fluff and coolness. Here is some of our plans

Defiler Assault Force
5 defilers with x2 close combat arms each (5 close combat attacks each at strength 10)

Terminator Annihilation Force
1 Chaos Lord and x3 5 man Terminator squads (each squad consisting of x2 heavy flamers, x3 combi weapons, chainfist)

Maelstrom of Gore
Kharn and 2 Chaos Lords (Lords will be all tooled up and helming Blood feeders)
x3 squads of 16 Berserkers including Asp Champ with Powerfist and personal icon

Chaos Linebreaker Squadron
x3 Vindicators (Just for fun of dropping 10" pie plate)

Chosen squads
x3 squads of 8 Chosen (each squad consisting of Asp champ with Powerfist and personal icon, mark of Khorne, x3 pwer weapons, flamer, and all with meltabombs)

Just curious as to what some say about this lineup.....

We had a 60,000 pt Apoc game last month. Tyranids vs Imperium, 4-4 objective draw.

B: The Spayce Marienz (hurr!) are gonna howl about your armies

C: Only Spayce Marienz (hurr!) win and only winners play Spayce Marienz (hurr!)

Moved to 40k tactics

Defiler Assault Force
5 defilers with x2 close combat arms each (5 close combat attacks each at strength 10)

Pick up the IA:A book, make these into a formation of Daemon Engines, and be rid of those pesky Immobilised results.

Also, make sure you pack in as many Lascannons as you can. The sheer amount of armour your opponent is bound to throw at you, as a Khorne player, will hurt if you don't have something to kill all those tanks before they drop pie/dinner plates on your heads.

Brutal!

With the linebreakers and the Defiler Assault force, you might find it fun/amusing to allow your opponent some sort of heavily fortified terrain piece. Depending on your penchant for skulduggery, you can either be forthright and tell them that it's an advantage that might turn against them when you rip it to shreds, or say nada and see if they take the bait, only to have it fall down around them. Either way, if your group is friendly it should prove very thematic.
