I'm thinking about making some house rules for an all Grot army. It won't win but it would be fun to play.

I can fill troop choices as well as Heavy Support with Killa Kans. However, the HQ is a tough one.

What kind of stats would an HQ for Grots look like?

Maybe a grot wired into a def dread?

I would assume some sort of Runtherd... Runtboss?

I want to avoid Orks entirely, an all gretchen force if you will. Something along the lines of a grot rebellion.

Ah. No Runtherds for the mobs of Grotz, then...

Some sort of Grotphet... Grot "Shawmun"...? Some sort of psyker-Grot, in any case, would be a hilarious HQ choice for this army, as they don't really seem the Warboss/Big Mek types...

How about this it would take some doing but would be very cool if you could pull it off....take Ghazghkull Thraka pull his head/face off and model a grot in the head cavity holding on to two levers/ driving poles...give him the same stats as the Ork warlord only substatue grot whenever it said ork.... LOL

Da fastest Orks get to da fight firstest!!! Waaaaagh!!!!!

I believe that's been done, actually, though I forget who did it. It may or may not have been based on Ghazghkull specifically, but I clearly remember a mega-armoured Ork with an armoured faceplate that opened up to reveal a grot piloting it. Pretty neat.

Threads should be like skirts: long enough to cover what's important but short enough to keep it interesting.

I'm just getting into the hobby and collecting orks right now, so I don't have much grubbinz or have decent painting skills...yet. Soon though..very soon.

Anyway, if I ever did get a big enough Grot army, I think it would only play special missions where getting to the other side of the board is the only objective. Only one grot has to make it and I win. Given the surviability of grots, I think this might be a fair mission.

Let's see, I need to start thinking about da Grophet, a Warnoob and Oiler the Destroyer as an HQ. Once I get some skill working with grubbinz and green stuff, I'll see what you guys think.
