I recently attended Adepticon 2008 and had a great time! Congrats to the organizers and participants for a great show!

My friend and I ran a FREE Mini medic station in main events on Friday. We repaired broken figures from transport to the show and battle damage during the day 8am till about 7pm while the Adepticon 2008 Gladiator was going on. We fixed a lot of models, including several forge world and TSA search repack disasters. In addition to super glue we offered on the spot pinning, epoxy, patch painting, mini reconstruction: limited resculpts from 2 part resin.

We wanted to hear from anyone out there who got their minis fixed if they liked the service or from anyone else who might have suggestions about it. Also thanks for trusting your models to our skills!

I could only run the mini medic station Friday as I was teaching classes the other days and playing in the Team Tourney! If you were there did you miss it the other days? Did you even hear about it?

For other con goers or general board folks attendees or not, would you like to see a mini repair station at a big tourney? Would you use it?

Ah! I saw this station and thought there was most likely a small charge involved. Gotta applaud the community spirit which must have prompted the endeavor to do it for free. Good show, gentlemen. Good show.

Mini Medic was a great idea and I would certainly use it at a future tournament.

I think it was a fantastic idea. Did not use it myself cause I was busy but I wish I had. THey looked like not only were they doing repair but they were reassembling things so that they would NOT break again. I have a haliberd that always breaks on one of my GK.

I saw you sitting there and wondering what you were doing. I thought you were just selling stuff.

They should have advertised your services more, and next time you need to bring a bigger drill.

I agree, great idea. Fortunately, I didn't need the services, but I thought it was very cool that you were there.
