I'm looking for critiques, or ideas from Nurgle players out there. I plan on doing another one and a completely from scratch greater demon. Please tell me anything that will help. Thank you!

Very gross. In a good way. Must be hard to transport him.

Even though the wings are done, it would have been cool to make them look like insect wings and complete the fly theme.

It's well done, love the head especially. Not a fan of the wings though... not sure why, just not much of a fan...

Did I say I love the head?

There is an attitude that not having an insanely optimized, one shot, six stage, omnidirectional, inevitable, mousetrap of an assassin list army somehow means that you have foolishly wasted your life building 500 points of pure, 24 karat, hand rolled, fine, cuban fail. That attitude has been shown, under laboratory conditions, to cause cancer of the fun gland.

Great job... I think the wings might be too far from the body though? How do they look from different angles? Maybe it's just the POV throwing them off... Like I said though, great job with the sculpting! First-time eh?? Pardon me if I don't believe you

I'm getting a lot of people saying they don't like the wings... That's too bad, but I'm not done with them and they aren't painted so maybe when it's done?

I'll take that as a compliment Knight Aside from a mohawk on a squig, I haven't really tried any major sculpting. Sorry again about the wings, I wanted longer stems so I can over do the rotting and pusulant skin.

That thing is over the top awesome! I wasn't so sure of the wings at first either, but seeing the whole model I really really like them. The Imperial Guardsmen being dragged into the sludge is a great touch also.

Amazingly cool. Great job here. The wings look kind of weird though, they are so far from the body. Other than that, this thing is awesome

That's your first sculpt?! Sweet Jesus! I've been playing with the putty lately and can't seem to do anything with it. My stuff is blue though, does it make any difference?

I've never worked with blue before, what company makes it if I may ask? 8 bucks for green stuff is a little much, but green stuff is the best I think. I bought a company that had brown stuff, but I only used it on raising models slightly on bases, no sculpting at all. I hear that it's more brittle, but I'm yet to try it out. I want to make a chaos sorceror of nurgle on a steed, fully customized, then a greater demon of nurgle complete sculpt. We'll see how it pans out. I'd like to do a fully customized army for tournament play.

Here's an update. I still have details to workout, but I wanted to post pics anyway. Thoughts?

Thunderhawk Pilot Dropping From Orbit

The wilds of Pennsyltucky

First... looks great.

Second.... the marine almost blends in... Could you pick out the color a bit and make him a little more visible?

Third.... The paint job is great but the color selection seems a bit all over the place. A more limited pallet of colors can really help to accentuate the details.

Fourth... looks great.

I would suggest a red space marine to contrast with the green blob covering it.

the wings look nice but they also look way too big.
the painting is flawless and looks awesome.

I'd wonder if you could do his eyes in a red, yellow or green, then highlight a "grid" over that in a lighter color? I'm not too crazy about it's pupils. I'd also brighten up the guardsman a bit.

Aside from that.... well

Wow that is amazing. It makes me think of resident evil 4 because of the scythe hand, and the wings. Its just gruesome and awesome.

I really like the paint job, except for the eyes. They give the overall effect an almost comical flavor. All black on the eyes, or all milky white would be seriously creepy.

Your painting & modeling skills make me cry... It's brilliant.

I second or third changing the eyes and making the guardsman (not marine--shame on you two heads) stand out more. I see tentacles aren't just relegated to the realm of slaanesh.

The wings are beautiful, but I really don't care for them at all. If all you're going to do is put this guy in a display case, then fine; but if you're going to play with him, it'll be a nightmare, and the aesthetic is just off (though I love the coloration).

Okay... back to my fingerpainting
