Very cool looking. I've not painted Epic scale in nearly 15 years, but I remember how long it takes to get the detail you've pulled off (and how frustrating it could get). Great work. Good luck getting the rest of the army completed.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Good work! A sizeable force of these guys would look incredible on the tabletop.

Also managed to get the original Angron model off ebay so hopefully will have that done soon too.

Good work. Those blues really pop well, and the Rhinos look great.

One suggestion? Sneak a bit more red in here and there- if you can do some bloody weapons at that scale somewhere, that would really enhance the whole setup.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

How is it that you paint epic better and more detailed than I paint 40k? Awesome World Eaters!

Lovin' this. The rust effects on the bottom edges of the tanks are nice.

Thanks for the comments guys.

@Savnock. I know what you mean about the blood, I may add some to my assault marines at the weekend. Its a little tough to get it looking right I think at this scale.

Heres the assault marines off the press

And the link incase that didn't work

Hi again folks,

I've been working on getting Angry Ron painted recently and have finished the red so far. (See link)

Can anyone suggest what colour to paint his hair and wings? I was thinking of just leaving them black but have a feeling the model may be too dark as a result. The sword I am considering a gradual highlighted blue and the crashed Landspeeder will be Imperial Fist.

Any suggestions would be great.

If it's your flickr photo account, click on all sizes and copy
the URL they give you for the static address. I think it's
called Grab the photo's URL at the bottom.

Then use the forum's img tags. Just press the button, paste
the URL and then click the img button again to close the
tag.

Cheers for that, lets hope this works.

The finished Angry Ron, any suggestions or comments are welcome. Just the base to do now.

hey, it worked ^_^

Looks good man. I would like to see some additional variation in the reds (maybe bring some oranges into the equation on the higher points). But at the scale (which I'm not 100% on btw) This is definitely an effective piece ^_^.

Dig the rest of your work here too btw.

Cheer grey_death, I thought some of the red was a little flat myself, i'll see what I can do.

I got the inspiration for the sword from your Emperors Champion conversion aswell actually

Very nice!

Though with Angron showing up in that form, it really isn't pre-Heresy anymore!
