Hi Guys I have not posted in a while. I shared these with the ladz over at the Waaagh, and did not want to leave my fellow Dakkites out.

What can we think? Good, solid stuff. Very nice. The marker with the grot on it is great.

Great skin colour! What range of colours/painting steps did you use to get that appearance?

Yes please, could you explain what steps you took to get that color I would love to know, I just starting to paint and these Orks are awesome!

Throw enough Goblins at anything and it should go away, at the very least there will be less Goblins.

What does Eric Clapton and Coffee have in common? Both suck without Cream.

Glad you like them. First let me say I dont like the dark skin Ork age thing GW introduced a few years back ( guess its been a while now really) but when I started playing that color idea was not around so all my ladz are a brighter green.

Vellejo Game colors mostely. I do use the old hex pot Orc Flesh wash because its a deep dark pigment. Vellejos black green wash should be close. I paint the whole skin goblin green, let dry then ink all the skin down, trying not to over do it. Let dry ( very important not to ruch the ink, if it aint dry when you go to the next step your screwed.) Next step is a very light dry brush of base color primairaly north to south. Just go at it till its what you like and remember you can always add more paint so go light at the start. Then I add scorpy green to the goblin and spot paint all the high points on the skin. Then I add liverly green to the mix for the final highlight. You can play around with the mixs and such but the fewer stps you use the faster it will go. Teeth and nails are base desert yellow, bone, off white. Just leave a little of each color showing.

Aqualung Orks can be great fun to paint but they can get over whelming very quick, so I would suggest, once you get the steps right stop at the green dry brush step if you can for your troops, do crazy high lights and such on Nobs and Bosses but just get your ladz painted so you can play. Once your more accomplished you can alwasy go back and bring thier detail up. Hope it helps

The aiming Nob is fantastic. Literally, that's the best looking ork model I have ever seen.

I thank you for your comment. Its nice to know some one likes ones work. I have had that model from the day it released. Its always been a favorite fig of mine. Just needed the right time and mojo to get him painted.

They are fantastic!

The skin is over the top, and the the weathering/wear is well executed.

Thanks for giving us a look

Very nice. The metals...look like metal! They honestly look like they would weigh something. The skin is also very nice. Excellent work.

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.
