Now, I'm interested in doing one for Circle Orboros and one for Cryx, but
I haven't decided how I want to do them yet. Do I include everything? My Protectorate
army included everything, but I also spread things out across my army for little
sub-divided entries (arc nodes with Severius, for example).

Warmachine is different from 40k in that you don't really build to a point
level. Games are fast and people change army lists around all the time. How
would I use Army Profiles to reflect the temperamental nature of a Hordes/
Warmachine army list?

I could make the army profile my "catchall" and use the pictures again in
later articles about particular builds. Then those articles would have new
shots such as the whole army shot just for them.

But would those count as Army Profiles or Tacticas?

If I was to do one for Everblight I would go like this.

This is warlock such and such. They have a playstyle like such and such.

Then I would go like this.

This is warbeast or unit such and such. They do this like this or they can even do this. They work well with this warlock because blahblah and an especially tricky thing you can do is something like casting both chiller and massacre on an Angelius.

And I would try and lay out like a story. So Legionaires and Carnivean go after Thagrosh because of obvious synergy.

The other thing you can do is say their main powers. So Thaggy has Draconic Blessing, you are going to want something you can cast it on. He has Death Shroud so all your units you choose should go well with it. So high ARM and Shredder spam, for instance. Vayl you will want something that does well with chiller and you want no more than say 80 points in infantry.

But it mostly discusses their strengths rather than MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS. BECAUSE IF YOU ARE NOT TAKING AT LEAST TWO SERAPHS, ONE SHREDDER, A HEAVY BEAST AND SWAMP GOBBERS IN EVERY LIST YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG.

That, and I liked your profile. The important thing is simply to present the units. So the answer is, no it is not a tactica.
