I had been looking for a neat idea for a Russ conversion for a while. I wanted to do a double tracked tank for a command vehicle, using Vindicator side armour plates as the track guards. But I couldn't think of anything inspiring. Then, I saw this: http://z4.invisionfree.com/Boot_Camp/index.php?showtopic=1598 . I give credit where it's due, and that is an incredible tank. I used it for inspiration. The inprogress results are below (vehicle is unpainted). Comments are welcomed and appreciated!
That is pretty sweet! Though I might suggest using plasticar dinstead of the vindi plates. Way cheaper and easier to get to fit together nicely. Keep up the great work.

Thanks! I should have added context--my local Chapter Approved had a massive bitz sale, and I managed to snag those Vindi plates for something like $0.50/each.
