Hey all,

on other boards there has been a growing trend of True scaling marines! I am slowly being bit by the bug of using terminator parts and building a true Marine army, but I have a few questions before I take part in the endeavor:

1. What rules should I use? One idea was to use Dark Angles and treat the "true scale" marines as Terminators...but I am not sure if that would float in terms of "count as." Personally I would let someone, especially if there was no "normal" marines in the army, which my army would have none. Or alternatively, I could do a Lysander type force, but I feel like the marines are going to take a hit with the new codex coming later this summer.

2. What chapter should I do? I already have a sizable Ultramarine and Dark Angel force. I was thinking about maybe Crimson fist, but I am not sure...

anyway, what would you do to represent the very finest that the Imperium has to offer? for me as I read the Black library novels, I feel like the rules for the marines do not really represent them all that well. I also thought about the Movie marines from WD issue #300, but I have never played them and would hate for it to be too over-powered.

I am also thinking about making it with the current Dark Angel codex in mind, mainly because I think a lot of things we have seen in that codex will be in the new Marine codex. I already have enough armies which have suffered the fate of being turned into crap due to GW rule changes, so I would like to stick mainly with troop choices and not get too wild anyway else.

Thanks for your time and advice!
