I currently have mostly games workshop paints and i woudl like to keep it that way but can any one maybe give me a run down of how they painted their Skorne, i am stumped right now part of me wants to go against the traditional red and the other part wants to just go the easy route, I think i have thought about it too much so now i can't decide haha
this may be too much to ask...if it is i apologize

THANKS FOR THE HELP

I'm wondering if we should make an alt-scheme article for
the various factions of different games. Would be handy at
times like this.

Here's Necros's cygnar like scheme:

My Praetorians have purple robes with black armor and
gold trim. The robes look blue, but they're purple.

This is a sweet Skorne theme:

And something more traditional:

Mine are blue, black and white with silver armor, not dissimilar from Necros' Skorne.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I did a very dark tan for the Cyclopses (base dark skin, flesh wash, dark skin/tan skin, tan highlight), and did a pretty typical gray for the Titan (I used Vallejo Model Colors german bluegray, dark gray, etc.).

Depending on your typical BAL, you may enjoy fielding pink Titans. Then everyone gets to see them!

I have some aborted pink with orange armor. It was truly
awful.

Have you checked out the Brushthralls website? They have some suggestions (including paint options) and did some alt-scheme starter boxes. Might be a good place to look.

Late on the topic but I liked this one so much I appropriated it for the Skorne I'm painting for a friend. Mine don't look this good, but I still really like the effect.

I like both of them Exarch. I think you pulled it off well.
