I finally got around to painting him.

I wanted to do a swamp base, but I couldn't get it to look right with his foot print.

All problems can be solved with proper use of a high powered rifle and a water tower

I remember the first time I saw Terminus. It was an unpainted figure in a game going on beside me when I was first checking out WM. My reaction was along the lines of "WTF is that? Your warcaster?!?"

Your paint job is absolutely superb and does the crazy sculpt full justice. The metallics and purples are great, but I think his wings are the stand-out. Very cohesive palette too. Lovely stuff!

Oooh. I neer did understand the frilly sleeves. I guess it
goes with Terminus being alive forever ago, but still...

The frilly sleeves are the one thing I truely hate about the model.

Frilly sleeves are a hold over from his Pirate days all those years ago. At least that's my theory.

And outstanding paintjob! Every time I see Terminus, I get tempted to put together a small Cryx force.

Wow! That looks great. I have one sitting in the box still. I haven't had the courage to try and put it together yet.

The wings really look great. I'm not sure about the purple sleeves, but if it goes with the rest of your army, then okay. Also, the brown metal could use a bit more definition. Highlights or something.

I think you've done a great job with your shading- especially on the wings and armor plates.

I think the pics are making him look more monotone than he is though. From these pics, it looks like your different colors don't contrast very much, so there's less popping. But like I said, I think that's the pics.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.
