Thanks for the trouble, but I really don't like the sculpts. I think the old ones were much better. I was suprised to see how much bigger they were than a SM however, the old ones were smaller werent they?

I agree, nostalgia is a nice touch, but is it just me or is GW reversing everything they've accomplished in the last few years and trying to go back to 3rd Ed?

I believe this thread is about a new demonette project, not the old (though absolutely glorious) minis. Lets focus on that.

Is that two boxes? Nice selection. I'm converting some dark elf witches previously acquired with some claws to mix in and the extra bits are helpful (as well as for the terrain).

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
-"Don't mind Frazzled. He's just Dakka's crazy old dude locked in the attic. He's harmless. Mostly."

I have a question about the detail on the model. It might just be that the photo has washed out the contrast, but some of those details look very shallow.

Does anyone else think that these new daemonettes look like the lovechild of the Dark Eldar Warriors (bald heads and wild hair) and old Crab Claw Daemonettes?

It is one box I just photogarphed the front and back of the sprue.

They are pretty shallow sorry.

So what does someone do with such ugly models in the time of generic daemons and one new codex?
Geanstealer Cultists!

To say it up front this is the prototype and I am kind of mixed up with it outcome. The next models should have other feet and an additional arm but I am not so sure about that. One great question I have is: "How to model hood?!" I tried and I failed. Are there some tutorials out there or could someone give me a tip that would be nice. Tomorrow I will throw some paint on this guy.

Haha nice. If they are Genestealer hybrids, then you should add some of the D'ette claws, as they could be said to be 1/2 formed rending claws. Im looking forward to seeing more.
