Subject: Wood Elf extra bits?

I recently bought wood elf plastic bits off ebay for Orc conversions. Included were some twigs and leaves that I think came from the Glade Guard sprue. I guess that they are base decorations, but I can't find an example of them being used. Am I right? What did you do with them, if anything? Any pics you know of?
Thank you

Do you need examples to use bits? If it looks like it could be reasonable on the ground, put it on the ground. I haven't yet bought the Glade Guard box, so I dunno exactly what kinda bits are in it. The Dryads at least have a way stone, some branches and a few spites that you can glue on the ground and so on. It's not really that hard to figure out, and if you can't find anything to use them for, then don't.
Cheers

It isn't that I cant find uses for them (the twigs make good "antlers") but I don't want to miss something standard when building up the elves. I have a huge pile of bits I had to sort, and it took a long time to realize that the little bushes I got are dryad hair. Now the dryad heads look more "normal" and I have a few bushes for bases left over.

Well, most of the Glade Guard extras are crap(got the box), the twigs are okay for basing, but nothing special. The few butterfly thingy is too big to add to a base, so maybe a objective marker, or on a treeman base or so on.
You should just look at the miniatures at the GW site, if you don't have the boxes with the assembly instructions. Find the parts, and see where they go. If they don't show on the GW models, they are basing stuff, that you don't have to use to complete models.
I've seen some people construct dryads without the hair, apparently it's a common mistake.
The Glade Guard is very basic, nothing you can miss really, torso, feet, cloak, head, arms if separate torso. Glue a dagger on his belt. That's it. Add twigs to the ground. Be mindful of the cloaks when you assemble, you might obstruct ranking up.

If you mess up like 5 of them you should be okay. Then you have scouts! Just make
sure they flee from any attack so you don't have to rank them up
