Just trying to use up some of the crap in my bitz box, leftover from other armies.

Comments welcome.

Ironically, they do. So do cheats.

straightforward and effective. You should look to clean up mold lines on future pieces though. The large gash on the shoulderpad and the mold line down the bolt pistol are detracting from a rather nice piece.

Beautiful piece here. I have to echo Grey_Death on the mold lines though. The colors and shading/highlights are fantastic though

Ditto!! Sweet-looking paintjob, really nice conversion, just needs a teeny bit of pre-paint cleanup.

Bernard, float over here so I can punch you.

Well if you're that good with the leftovers, your main course puts me to shame. Great work!

Awesome!

And the "mold line issue" is so minor, I'd bet at normal viewing distance, they disappear altogether.

Any pics of the rest of your guard?

Yeah, it's amazing what the camera will pick up when the eye doesn't. I thought I got every mold line there was and lo and behold, there they are. There's one on the chainsword grip too. :( The one on the shoulder is actually my bad greenstuffing skills - that arm is the Cadian Missile Launcher arm and so there was a big gap in the top that needed filling.

Possibly, when I can get some photos taken. The army was my attempt at a small IG force - only 59 models! But it didn't really work out that well on the tabletop. It's helluva fun to play in friendly games but it's not competitive at all. Besides which, I tried a new varnish for them and they ended up looking really glossy, despite the varnish being matt. But I'll try to post some photos soon.
