With the new deamons (especially the Soulgrinder) i began thinking of building my own Deamon Prince. I was mostly inspired y the great body coming with the Soulgrinder kit.
As I wanted to have him wings (because it's cool), i also ordered a pair of Balrog Wings.

This is the resuls so-far.

Complete model (excuses about the dakr picture, new will follow zoon)

Body front

Body rear

Sword - 1

Sword - 2

Wings - 1

Wings - 2

Wings - details

At this moment all the rough building, sculpting anc work is done. From now on it's mostly detaling.

I agree, the body of the soulgrinder is awesome, and it looks excellent with the wings attached. However, the legs look really awkward at the moment. Are you planning on having him in a flying pose, or are you going to do something further with posing the legs? Also not really sure about the mechanical claws as feet...

The model will be a flying pose. Mounted on a copper rod, approx. 10cm / 4" above the base.

Neither am i sure about the feet, but dont have a clue what else to do with them.

if you're putting him on a brass rod above the base anyway, you could make it look like he's striking down of something. like Jamsessionein's Zagstruk.

This will probably be very kick-a$$ when you're done with it. Put's the regular demon prince to shame

As promised, here is a pictuer of the Prince flying in the air:

I know there's a lot left to do, but it's a nice beginning

[edit]: The lower part of the legs is movable, so i can change some about the pose of them

That is some incredible stuff. I have to say... I'm jealous.

That is very (3x) cool. I'd love to see the face of the 'Nid player who puts his Tyrant HQ on the table and you conter with this beauty.
