So I got a surprise in the mail the other day, a brand new warstore backpack.
A bit of a surprise seeing as... I never ordered one.
It seems that once again (for a total of 2 times) my shameless plugging of every non- GW company out there has paid off!
Actually this might be the 3rd time... I never did open that Armorcast stream strider I got...
Anyway! It's a good one. It's custom made for minis, holds my army (minus tanks in their own box) and rule books and drink and Chinese-English dictionary with ease. And even fully loaded it's comfortable.
It's the sort of thing I would never spend money on myself, but now that I have one I can't see how I would live without it. I really would have loved one when I was in NY and taking the train to and from games.
So thanks Neil, it's a good solid product and I recommend it.
On with the pictures!

Exalt for the Crown Royal dice bag! That's what I use too.
The Crown Royal bag, that is. The backpack looks nice too.

I was just looking at that backpack on Neil's site. Does it have any velcro pathes that i could get embroidered with an army name or something? (Yes I am a super-geek) The warstore is an awesome store btw. I use it all the time for tools and accessories for the hobby. They also sell the pig iron heads that make great headswaps for GW minis. I'm not trying to get a free backpack hehe.. Just letting everyone know that they are a great store and sell most of the stuff I use in conversions. Heads, plastic tubing, plasticard, greenstuff etc etc.
give them a try.
Kid_Kyoto: please let me know if there are any velcro patches. I'm eager to get a bag with a custom army name on it.

Spencer over at 40k radio actually did a full video review of it, short but covers everything and even compares it side by side to the armageddon pack sold by gw.
you can catch the video at
40k Radio
he has it set up to play straight from the site so you should not have any trouble.

Nemissary, yes it has the velcro patches, Spencer shows them in the review and talks about different ways to customise them.

I too was sent one by Neal & Crüe (thanks guys!), and while I don't use it for gaming right now - I've got big ArmyTransports for my armies, with enough pouches for the books and litte stuff I need to game with - I do use it for just general everyday stuff. When I go back to school next year it should be a very nice thing to have indeed, with books + laptop easily stowable.
Hilariously my warhammer-hating fiancee was jealous of the gamer pack's utility

Well, You've done it
I checked out the Warstore, and once I caught a glimpse of those Kolony rebel heads, I decided they'd be perfect for my Drookian Fen Troopers
So I bought them
