Anyone happen to have or have seen the Inquisitor Kroot model?
I have a kroot beastman army and I'd like to use this as a conversion for a giant. Will it be big enough? Or is it more like minotaur sized? anyone know?

I haven't played Inquisitor for a while, I think the models are 54mm scale (I might be wrong, but it's in that area), so it wouldn't be giant sized, somewhere between minotaur and giant.

Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone's got one and they all stink. |

hmm... was afraid of that... does it look bigger than a minotaur though? Like if I maybe gave it a big rocky base and a club it could maybe pass for a large target?

The kroot is pretty huge for an =][= figure. It's almost as big as the marine iirc. It would be a pretty freaking gigantic 28mm kroot, not as big as a giant compared to an orc, but still impossibly large for a normal kroot. Definately taller than a minotaur by a good cm or two.

**sprints in from conclave** (lol)
the kroot is bigger than a marine(its long and gangly) =][=
its deffinately ample big enought to us as a proxy for a giant with 28mm kroot

It's enormous, I can measure mine tonight if you really want a height on it. It would work fine as a giant, especially as giants are "only" T5 W6 ... Watch your basing, when I made my 'counts as' slave troll for my ogres I went with the 75x50 base (big monster + cav base) to avoid anybody whining that a GeeDub giant has a bigger base. - Salvage

Thanks for the info. I was gonna use the old square "large monster" base.. the new one is on a chariot base, right? Or does the new giant come with its own special size? If not I can use a chariot base I guess...

It's on its own molded one, which is 50x75 (50 to the front). Easily replicated with 50x50 monster + 25x50 cav + GS. Worth the effort I think, to keep it up to date with the latest official model.
