So once again, a tournament has been organized at my FLGS for this Saturday. It's sort of last minute, but I would like to enter. However for those of you that remember, this list suffers the same problems as my last, namely, that I have few choices available to me. Take a look at the list below and let me know if there's anything I should change. If I have the models and it's a good idea, I'll definitely take you up on it.

I fielded three Vindicators last time, and was incredibly underwhelmed by their performance, but I don't want to write them off just yet. I have played some games with them and used them to great effect, but the unreliability of them makes we worried about the list's lack of antitank. Anyway, here's what I was planning.

49 Models and 4 Vehicles. Not the best combination - I'd much rather field 5 20-man Crusader Squads with Grim and a Reclusiarch.

As you all can tell, it has no ranged anti-tank save the Venerable Dread and horribly unreliable Vindicators. Everything is slow, and there are no Terminators. The 8-man unit + Chaplain that I ran last tourney ended up just eating points. I'm convinced that taking more bodies will be better for my army.

Rather than drone about it for another couple of paragraphs, just tell me what you think.

Its alot of zealing doom. It could work nicely. However I think the insane power of grimaldus with terminators should not be ignored. Just think about it for a while. Anyway, I think if you blast the vindicators forward and pop smoke first turn, while charging with your troops in a blob of fearlessness, you will be able to handle alot of stuff. Even a flying circus could get caught by 9 inch zeal. Good luck fighting a nightbringer though...

So I decided the night before that I was going to build 25 Guardsmen and 2 Chimeras to make my IG 1850 for the tourney.

That was fun. I didn't do very well, but considering I was able to really hurt Speed Freak Orks (escalation helped), I think the list will do a lot better when done.
