Using Inks and Washes






They look very nice but you really need a light box to diffuse the light to avoid the bleaching effect and subsequent shadows that just hide half the detail.

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm looking into making a box. This was just a quick-and-dirty pic I snapped last night just as the battery died. I normally put a t-shirt over my desk lamp to diffuse, but I didn't have one handy. A lightbox will definitely help with the shadows, though!!
