I started these a while back, and VERY slowly brought them to completion. Feedback, advice and criticism all welcome!

They look very nice but you really need a light box to diffuse the light to avoid the bleaching effect and subsequent shadows that just hide half the detail.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm looking into making a box. This was just a quick-and-dirty pic I snapped last night just as the battery died. I normally put a t-shirt over my desk lamp to diffuse, but I didn't have one handy. A lightbox will definitely help with the shadows, though!!
