Here are Epic Madrak Ironhide, World Ender and Epic Lord Assassin Morghoul.
Can't really say much for Madrak, I get the position but it still looks kind of labored. Morghoul on the other hand looks twelve kinds of bad@$$. Overall, I continue to be pleased with Privateer's sculpts and paintjobs for their stock models. Lets hope by next week we can see Kaya.

Epic Kaya may finally push me over the edge on a second hordes faction... 'tis a shame, as I've not finished the first faction yet.
either Circle or Everblight... I figure those two play most differently from Skorne / Menoth / Cygnar that I have now.
... course that would require me to actually PLAY and not just collect and paint.

Looks like Madrak's back is breaking faster than a top-heavy

If Batman cn break his back and still be Batman, then why not Madrak?
Anyway, I like him. Not enough to start Hordes (I like big stompy robots better), but he's nifty.

I didn't much like Madrak either at first but he looks better if you rotate him. The other one isn't much good imo.

I actually like Morghul, but he's my fave Skorne 'lock. Madrak is okay.

I have to concur that Madrak is a little meh to my eyes. Of course he is still Madrak anyway. Troll players seem to like him.
Facing that Morghul LORD OF ASSASSINS would give me the willies, I think. "I wonder when I am going to die?" Meanwhile he has the ultimate goaded 'beast herd and it is a 750 point game.

Never make fun of a guy with a fan, when that fan is serrated. I think Morghoul's scenic base is the best-looking of all the epic warcaster/locks to date.

I was going to make a similar comment about Madrak. I think that if you posed him tilted forward it would help return his balance to being above his feet. In a way his pose looking like he is falling over due to the weight of his axe fits the story for his epic incarnation.
"Madrak knew that the cursed weapon Rathrok would destroy him, but he willingly took it up to save his people. Now the ancient axe threatens to overwhelm him." ... and cause him to fall upon his butt. His people wept.
In all seriousness, I am stoked for this model.

I don't know if it's just me, but Madrak's stance looks wonky because his grip on the axe is completely wrong. Given his left hand on top, he'd have to be in the middle of a lerge left-arcing swing. But his wrist is rolled out over where the arc of the swing would cover, completely losing both arm strength and body momentum. With his hands/arms/wrists where they are, it seems he wouldn't be able to actually swing that bad boy with any amount of power.
Man, it's past my bedtime, I'm nit picking swing form on a pewter miniature...

I peed a little when I saw Madrak. I actually like him a lot I think....although I agree his grip does look a bit weird.
Morghoul is kind of "meh," but I don't really care for him in non-epic form anyway.
