I'm pretty much finished with 40k, but I still enjoy BFG. Here's a list I'm thinking about running.

Its a fairly standard look at IN tactics. The Cobras work the edges of the board, sending torpedoes down the flanks and forcing your opponent into a tight formation where your Nova Cannons and numerous short range batteries excel.

Sounds good. It really bites me that Imperials don't have forward weapon batteries/lances, my Chaos opponent always seems to have an edge on me, guess I'm not a good player lmao!

The Torpedoes trick is a good one for Imperial ships. Though I find it hard to get right at times.

A Str. 6 torpedo launcher is usually superior to what they have on the front of their vessels anyway imo.
