I am just getting into AT-43 and had a question.
Do heros take up a platoon slot?
I know that some heros joining a unit do not replace that units original hero, but when creating a platoon, does the hero use up an appropriate slot on the chart?
Probably a stupid question but thanks to all.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost in time, like tears...in rain

I'm really lousy at explaining things, but here's a free AT-43 army-builder software that can probably answer your question better than I could. It runs on windows. It requires the .Net framework 2.0 to be installed.

Short answer: no.

Longer: Some Heroes are "Units" and therefore take up a slot, such as the Therian hero, Tiamat. Other heroes are attached to units or are figured into their vehicle's cost.
