What armies have I really run over the last decade?

I've run Guard [mech and non-mech]. Using MISSILE LAUNCHERS and FLAMERS.

I've run Legion of the Damned [after they got nerfed--not when they were awesome]. Still Smurfs but without ATSKNF.

I've run Sisters of Battle--back when they had MULTIMELTAS to take tanks on.

I've run Kroot Mercs--back when IG army companies were all the rage. That was fun.

I've run Tau--not the 'power' Fish of Fury lists everyone else ran, just my own flavor. Lots of Kroot. Yeah, real winners in a shooty army!

I've run old school Ork hordes, Kan hordes...but never KoS. Seemed a little too easy. I zoom, I win.

I've run old school Nids, but did I ever take the rending claws on my gaunts? Nope. I used warriors back when warriors sucked. Wait, warriors still suck...well, you get the point.

I've been running all kinds of Dark Eldar builds, and I admit running a no-raider foot slogging DE army really is just a top tier army.

I ran a Fabius Bile army when the Rhino Rush was dead. DEAD! I still have fond memories.

I ran a Emperor's Children fluffy list. Woo, look at all my S4 shots. Kill tanks? Maybe the Sisters can lend me a multi-melta...


Now to my Eldar "power builds".

I ran fluffy Swordwind and took one of each aspect. Not 6 of one type like everybody else. I didn't run Baharroth at the GT like everyone else did. I ran the Court. Yeah, that was a AWESOME unit. Let my Avatar be wounded on 3+ by bolters. WOO power list.

I ran Ulthwe web portal. When was that army good? Ever? Name the week it didn't suck.

Last year, I ran two Falcons with Fire Dragons in them. Tri-Falcon? Hardly, where are the Harlequins? Did I play them like the douchebags did, by hiding? Nope, my Falcons and my Fire Dragons died pretty much every game. My Fire Prism did well in one game. Died turn 1 in the rest. Sorry, what was that? It's not my skill, it's my list? The list I never played, with all the unoptimized stuff in it that died every game? Yeah, taking Fire Dragons into drop Guard....boy that's a winner if I ever saw one.
