Scouting Gnoblar Trapper

Has anyone actually tried using this stuff on model bases rather than on gaming tables? (actually I think it's pretty newly out?)

I just got some on an impulse buy and it's a pretty spongy mass that's all together in tear off "clumps" rather than grains of material, separate pieces or little "balls" of flock.

I'm just wondering about any experiences with it before I try it out?It looks like it might be good hanging off of models but I'm not sure on circular bases(trays would work I suspect?)

Jesus... this post sounds fragmented to hell and back.

i think i know what your talking about. i call it clump foliage. G9 makes some nice stuff and its usually used on model trains and trees. Its good for adding clumps of brush to bases, but i wouldnt use it on a table, it would make the surface very unstable, especially with lighter models.

I have a friend who often uses it on bases. It works very well.

You don't want your minis standing on top of it though. That's just not good.

i used similar stuff to make 15mm brocages (banked hedges that line the roads in rural France). i coated it with really flowy super glue. it set the flock like rock but created a lot of noxious (& i presume toxic) gas. it also created a lot of heat. not for beginers!

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!
