I think this contest is meant to be good humored fun, but if you take things Warhammer too seriously you should definitely stop reading now.

TMP has a FauxK contest. Basically, "... write a rule, paragraph, publicity blurb for a new ruleset for the Warhammer 40K universe. It can be any kind of rules you like. Pogo-stick jousting, submarine warfare, sumo wrestling with skullz, it's entirely up to you. Just give us your best Faux Warhammer."

Sounds like fun actually. Any DakkaDakka ideas?

40K is such a parody of itself already, it's hard to create something anything more parodic.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I tried hard but it's pretty much true. Skulls, erotic displays of "piling in during 'assault'", oversized weapons and invulnerable saves, armor saves, psychic powers, troops-only scoring, and giant forts (pillboxes) with tiny wheels. 40k's vanilla game already has me beat. :(
