What do folks recommend as the weapon choices for Veteran Assault Squads? I'm leaning toward 1 power fist, 2 power swords, a flamer and a melta, then as many combat shields as I have spare points and bits for. I think it would allow me maximum flexibility, although for better hittiness I could replace the power swords with lightning claws. I'd have a powerfist and meltagun to handle any bigguns or vehicles who happen to come by. I'd have two power swords to carve up heavy infantry and a flamer to cut down light infantry. The only problem? POINTS! But no tactic is without it's downsides. So, how do folks typically run their VAS? General purpose or specialized?

I think the best loadout is 2x pair of lightning claws, power fist, meltagun and flamer in a rhino.
