While rummaging through some boxes in the store room, I came across a whole bundle of Space Marine bike parts.

So, I did the obvious thing, and made a quad bike...

I had been wanting to revisit my original Scorpion MkI design, but as a variant without the wheel guards, for a bit more of a rough, off-road look. And so the MkIa was born.



The heavy weapons are magnetised, so they can be swapped.

It looks great, with a nice use of plasticard. Although there should be bigger suspension for the front wheels, thats my one suggestion.

yay, a quad conversion that doesn't require 4 bike kits for the mudguards! As blinky says, some more suspension gubbins would help the off-road look, otherwise great.

How about something similar for the new ork bikes?

Just as well, since most of the box of bikes that this guy came out of were the leftovers from earlier quads, and so missing their mudguards

Funnily enough, I was actually thinking something similar earlier today... I have a few Chaos bikes scattered in with the bits, so I was thinking of doing a Chaos Quad Squadron, and then after that looking at some sort of Ork Quad conversion, probably as a buggy/trakk substitute.
