Can someone post some pictures, and give me some advice on painting a 12th tallarn army? this is my first army, and I want it to look very good. thanks in advance!

Sorry, maybe some of the early morning/ late night people can help. Well, late night from my point of view.

I'm not sure if the 12th have specific scheme or not but, it shouldn't be hard. They are desert raiders. Generally they are painted using muted sandy earth tones - desert yellow and bubonic brown and whites. You could do something different like a desert camoflage scheme. I would start with desert yellow or bubonic brown and use a nice flesh or brown wash for highlights on the tanks or go for a desert camo scheme, look at WWII German Afrika corps for good examples of desert camo.

Should i still use chaos black as the base coat? or use a sand color?

Always undercoat black. There are loads of parts of the model that aren't going to be sand coloured, and those will benefit from the black basecoat. Also, if you miss a bit with a black basecoat, it'll look like shading, with any other colour it'll look horrible. Black basecoats FTW.

Well, either way Kevin, they look really SWEET, and I want to do the 1st of the tanks for painting, so yeah. I really like the 1st heavy's paint scheeme.
