Hi all!

My name is James and I am a long time Warhammer Fantasy player, who has recently started dabbling in WH40K. I have about 10 years of Fantasy experience, playing a range of different armies with some solid tournament results - I won the inaugural Warhammer Fantasy Conflict in Australia at age 15, and have had many other placings and wins since then. My favourite army is Tomb Kings, but I am a huge fan of Chaos and Lizardmen as well.

I am not an expert 40K player however! I have only recently started, finishing up a Tyranid Horde list, only to be told a) its not very strong and b) there is a new edition coming! C'est la vie! Ill no doubt be looking to learn from the experienced and knowledgeable Dakka community in this regard.

Looking forward to see you all around the board, its nice to finall be a member.

Regards, James F.

Hi James, welcome on board.

I wouldn't worry much about the tyranid horde list - the return of screening rules make it very viable.

There's just one thing missing - pictures!

While you sleep, they'll be waiting...

Have you thought about the Axis of Evil pension scheme?

hey dont worry nids wont really have much changes IMO
Only that you will be shot more and you cant masacre move into differnt units.
But a pro is that things that usually cant fleet now can but cant go into combat that turn.

40k - Orks (lots), Nids, Elder, Necrons, Demons, Space M

WFB - Orcs, Demon Nurgle (not updated), Zombie Pirates/ Vamp Counts, Tomb Kings, Wood Elves

LOTR - Uruk Hai, Rohan

Hey everyone!

Whats [DCM]?

I think I will like it here. Ill teach as much about Fantasy as I can and learn as much about 40K as possible. It certainly is a nice, active, friendly site.

Glade to be here!
