Ive heard of people taking normal csm models and modeling them into death guard or nurgle marines.
Can anyone walk me through this or show me some pics of their own converted models?

There's a few ways to do it.

You can do a simple head swap with zombies or ghouls or Pig Iron gasmask heads. Swap in some zombie arms and some damage with your knife and pin vice and you're golden.

Or you can try and greenstuff bellies and tubes and sores on to them.

I did the former and was pretty happy.

These are are normal marines (well, 2nd ed marines) that have been green stuffed. It's fairly simple to do.
