Any ideas on it? I was think either thin string or greenstuff for my Void 'Crons. Then, putting a small LED to light it up. Of course, this would be difficult, the LED I mean, in most places. Sigh...

Most water effects can be dyed easily. A technique I've seen used once to great effect involves building the initial lightning shape out of clear fishing line, then coating it with a thin layer of water effects dyed bright green. To go further over the top, using highlighter ink to dye the effects will cause it to glow under uv or blacklight. Just food for thought.
