Anyone know how to do these kinds of power weapons?

Im guessing a black prime then working from a dark green up to the bright green highlights. But what Im not sure of is if you can take your bright green and mix in black to get a dark green, then add the same bright green bit by bit to brighten it up with each layer. Would that work? If nobody knows I guess Ill just have to pull out something to do a test run on

Adding black to a bright green like scorpion green won't look great I'm afraid. For this you'll need dark angels, snot, goblin and scorpion. You can replace the snot green with a 50/50 goblin to dark angels mix, and the scorpion green can be achieved by adding yellow (and possibly a little rotting flesh/bleached bone/white to the mix). Hope that helps.

Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone's got one and they all stink.

To get that same effect (the black to the bright green), you're going to want to use lots and lots of extremely thin layers to help the transition along.

This exact picture was what inspired me to give the look a go on my veteran marine sergeant. I've put more on how I went about it in my M&P Blog You can also see my version of this in red there.
