There will be 40 Hours of Gaming at the Games Workshop in Ypsalanti Michigan! The shop opens at 8am Friday, July 11 and does not close till Saturday at midnight!

40 HOURS OF GAMING EVENTS!!!!

The Golden Grot Begins! – Get Prizes just for painting your army over the next two months!

Blister Painting Competitions – Buy a blister, build it and then you have 2 hours to paint it. Winner will receive store credit twice the cost of the blister that they purchased!

Gladiator Battle! – Bring an HQ choice and battle it out! (Max 150pts)
Introduction to 5th edition – Learn 5th edition in a quick class that goes over the differences between 4th and 5th edition.

Avalanche of Skulls – Bring a single, basic troop infantry model. Outrun the avalanche while killing your competition!

Bitz Bash Conversion Contest – Bitz provided, you have a small amount of time to build the coolest conversion!

Sniper Alley – Take one sniper and one character, objective is to kill the enemy snipers!

Ticket drawings – You get raffle tickets for participating in events, winning events and as door prizes. We are giving stuff away all during the 40 hours!

TANK BASHING – Bring a vehicle and destroy the enemy with ramming! No shooting, only ramming!

Speed Painting Competition – are you ready for crazy, fast painting? You think you’ve seen it all…muhahaha!

Lucky 13’s - Emperor’s Chosen Build/Paint Session – Starts on Wednesday, July 9th! Entry is purchasing two troop choices. Build/paint during the session in order to participate in the Emperor’s Chosen Battle. Get a Lucky 13’s stamp for participating!!!

Emperor’s Chosen Battle – Take your two troop choices and any other units you purchased and built since Wednesday, July 9th and place them on the table! Last one standing wins!!!!

DEADLIEST ARMY TOURNAMENT! – 1850pt 40K Tournament where you destroy your enemy ! Prize support.

Boxset Painting Competition - Buy a boxset, build it and then you have 2 hours to paint it. Winner will receive store credit twice the cost of the boxset that they purchased!

Megabattle – Wheel of Destiny! – Bring 1000pts of 40k and use the wheel of destiny to find out where you will fight! You get to bring any models that you used in the Emperor’s Chosen Battle at no points cost!!!!

Objective Marker Building Contest – Bitz will be available. Contest to build the coolest Objective marker for any system!

APOCALYPSE GAME!!! 40k pts of 40k! – HUGE APOCALYPSE GAME!!! The goal is to get 40k points of 40k!!!

Hello all, I haven't posted here in a while, namely since I went to work for GW. However, this is an event in my area and so should be good. There is an 1850 tournament from 1am Saturday morning until 9am and will have full prize support.

Especially to those in Southern MI and Northern Ohio. This store is in Ypsilanti, MI which is next to Ann Arbor and about an hour away from Toledo Ohio and Lansing MI,

what are the prizes for the tournament? Staying up all night playing wh40k sounds painful

The event has numerous ways to win prizes.

There will be an ongoing raffle for the night where you can get tickets by participating in the events and extra tickets for winning. There will be 10 drawings throughout the 40 hrs and will include prizes ranging from mugs to battleforces.

Also, certain events (like the blister and boxset painting competitions) allow store credit to the winners.

In addition, for those that stay the full forty hours there will be a special raffle which will give you a chance to win an even larger prize. Right now that looks like it will be an apocalypse formation...


It is going to be a ton of fun!

Brado, as this is a GW store there will be fantastic support. Everything from blisters to Megaforces and apocalypse formations! Absolutley worth the time, even if it is in the middle of the night.
