Ive got a few questions for people, just about is it worth it on chaos models for example:

Is it worth is to have a havoc launcher on a rhino seeings as that they arent the strongest vichiles, would it be a waste of points, another is a dreadnought, are they worth it on the field, sure they have the rule that will make him attck anyone on the feild in range but besides that would it be worth it to have one just to put a bit of fire power into the enemy by deepstriking it behind them

any opinion would help thanx

I've seen the havoc launchers on Rhinos used quite well in kind of a SM las/plas razorback fashion. Takes several of them (read: as many as possible) to really feel the effect.

They'll probably be used a lot more in 5th. It's a cheap way to make a rhino into a fire support vehicle. Might be useful against hordes since you're not gonna want to use your rhinoes to get closer to them.

I think one rhino with one havoc, in an army of mostly infantry, will not really pay.

Several, or in conjunction with other small vehicles though, and the havoc looks better and better.

I don't think Rhinos with upgraded weaponry really pay off for Chaos so much. Might as well stick to troops to sink your points into. And what is this bit about Chaos Dreads deep striking? If they could deep strike it would be wonderful. I'd run 3 if that were the case. But sadly they are stuck in the land of crappy Chaos stuff until the next Codex comes out. Then they will probably be super sweet and have a brand new plastic kit.

I love to put a combi-weapon on it, since its going into close range anyway. You wont be firing anything while on the move so you dont really need long range firepower tho.
