I am trying to figure out what model to use as the basis of a battlewagon conversion. Has anyone used a baneblade to convert into a battlewagon? If so, how did it come out? I was thinking of using a landraider but I am afraid it might be too small. Is that right?

Thanks.

Baneblades are more battlefortress material, honestly. You can make a wagon out of one, but you're sort've disadvantaging yourself by having such a huge, and thus easily-hit model.

In the new Apocalypse: Reload book, there's an Ork Anti-Air trukk that uses the rear tread parts from the new, unreleased battlewagon kit. Based on that, you can sort've eyeball the size of what a finished battlewagon kit might look like when they are released. I'd say it's roughly the same size as a land raider, so using a LR as a base is not a bad idea.

if it gives you some inspiration, I'm WIP on a battlewagon from a land raider. I haven't put a thread up here but here is the link to the WIP thread on the waagh!

That is great. Thank you. I did not know that they were actually doing a plastic battlewagon
