Whenever I get such a notification by email, the link is no longer "clickable" in Hotmail. I have to copy-paste it in my browser to visit it.
I'm using Firefox, but I had this problem when I used to use IE, so I doubt that's the issue.

Can anyone help me out here? It's pretty annoying. :(

You say 'no longer' - when did this start happening? Whether or not the link is clickable depends on your email provider and it sounds like hotmail have changed their policies (probably for some obscure security reason).
