Hi all,

Starting up a blood ravens army. Just looking for anyone that has painted them before with an easy way to do it instead of using the GW way. I have tried the GW way out on a scout and it looks OK. But just the time it takes to do all the edging etc with the blood red. Anyway to the point... has anyone found a mix of 2 colours to make it close enough to the Blood Raven's "RED"???

Could you provide me with a photo of a finished model?

I'll finish off the scout i'm working on and post it on this forum... Currently also doing a Marine with HB the GW way ... not turning out as well as the scout.

Yeah, those Blood Ravens by Scott Bowser are some of the nicest I've seen. Very pretty.

HEy I paint BR and i thought that the GW way was the best. But you could paint Scab Red, Then a coat of Red Gore, and not highlight with blood red.
