I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but I think the flags that used to drag behind the eldar jetbikes have been discontinued.

I have made continuous purchases of jetbikes over the years and I have noticed somewhere along the line they stopped including banners.

At first I first I thought I was unlucky and the stickers where simply missing from my purchases. Over the years I have acquired 25 jetbikes (9 guardian jetbikes, 5 shining spears, 3 warlocks, 1 Autarch, 1 Farseer, and six converted harlequin jetbikes). I started using jetbikes during 3rd edition and only 8 of my guardian bikes have banners. I believe the bikes with banners where my earlier purchases.

So, out of my purchasing history I am eight out of twenty-five. When making the shining spears I bitz ordered them and purchased skrieker bikes for the cannons and the non-present banners. Also, my efforts to get the missing banners through bitz order and other purchasing sites were unsuccessful.

What triggered this rant is I just had the time to go through my Windrider Host Apocalypse set, the one that includes ten jetbikes. And you probably can guess what was missing.

What really gets to me is that the models depicted on the box all possess their banners, which is a clear case of false advertisement if I am correct about them being discontinued.

Did Games Workshop simply stopped making them while continuing to present them on their models, artwork, and advertisements; or am I really unlucky to own 35 jetbikes and only eight banners?

In a similar vein does anyone know where I can find 30 Ulthwe’ jetbike banners?

Much appreciation

I think you can make color copies of the Eldar codex page that has the picture of them on it and cut those out. That is the best I can think of.

A quick delve in my bits box divulged 3 banners. I might have a few more - as with Lormax, PM me your address and I'll send off these 3 plus whatever others I find

Thanks to those who replied.

The big point about my post was to question whether or not the banners have been discontinued – does anyone know for certain?

And if they had been removed from production, as I believe they have been, isn’t GWS committing fraud by displaying models with banners on their box sets. Legally you can’t put something on a box that is not found within that box without some form of disclaimer right?

'contents may very from those shown'

its in fine print on the back.

GW seem to have strayed away from including anything other than the stock decal sheet any longer.

I may have some I can send you.

I'm out of town, but when I get home I'll look to see if I have a sheet of 'em.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

I might have a few too.

I never liked them personally, I had a couple on my old jetbikes and they never stuck on right.. like they would start falling off the banner pole after a while
