I have been thinking of starting SM lately, especially with the new Start Box content that is being released. However, since I currently play SoB, I would like to pick a chapter thats on good terms with the Inquisition. As such, I was wondering, of the common chapters (BT, BA, DA, Ultra, Blood Ravens, Imp Fists, Crimsom Fists, Raven Guard, etc) which are on good terms, and which find the other as KoS? I know GK are probably the best, but as they are a separate army in game terms, I think of that as a separate desicion for me to make.

Orkses is never beated in battle. If we win we win, if we die we die so it don't count as beat. If we runs for it we don't die neither, so we can always come back for anuvver go, see!

Marines distrustful at Inquisitors = most chapters.
I believe Dark Angels(for Secrets),Blood Angels and Space Wolves (for curses),Legion of the Damned and Iron Hands (closer to ad mech) won't work often with the Inq.

Black Templars could be a good choice,but you can End up in a challenge =>

*paladin pulls arm of traitor "its my emperor-given right to smite him*
*sisters pull on the other arm "no,its our turn to burn him"*
*Paladin "his ass is mine"*
*sisters"we'll kill the whole traitor,Not only care about his ass"*
*traitor"hey,lapdogs,indecisive as ever,muhaha"*
*inquisitor joins and Cut traitor in half*

What is sure :
ordo xenos recruted from many different chapters for their Deathwatch kill teams.
I guess that Ultramarines,Imperial Fists,White Scars and many successors are a viable choice.
Raven Guard and Salamanders may be to close to imperial citizens,they would rather fight and save humans than forfeit them and exterminatus .

Mann = just a misiterpretation from my I-phone's Auto-suggest-feature I have missed to correct,sorry.
SA = shortened salamanders not to sallies,should suggest a fitting abbrevation in "nuts&bolts".
KoS = ? I don't know either.

Easier to type abbrevations if browsing mobile at I-phone.May use full names to help you.

Yeah, but in 40k society, who isn't distrustful of Inquisitors? And I think that's painting some pretty broad strokes. Would most Marines be distrustful of Inquisitors? Probably. Would most Marine chapters be willing to fight under an Inquisitor? Probably. Even the Space Wolves and Dark Angels have done so.

As far as Marine chapters that are notable for their service to the Inquisition, goes, though, the two that are most well-known for being Inquisitorial "lapdogs" are the Crimson Fists and the Red Hunters. The Crimson Fists have, as part of their work for the Inquisition, eradicated two fellow SM Chapters.

That being said, though, I would say any Marine chapter would be good to work with the Inquisition with the exception of those with a reputation for "taint" such as the Blood Angels and their Successors, the Cursed Chapters (21st Founding - Lamenters, Mantis Warriors, Black Dragons, Sons of Anteus, etc.), Relictors, or the Marines Malevolent.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack
