Certainly an improvement on the GW Saurus oldbloods, and cheaper too IIRC. The jaguar is a nice bonus.

Aye not bad at all, just light that lizard's sword on fire and I'd be happy to have him sprinting around my table. Pleasantly trim (and cheaper as noted) vs the GeeDubbers.

And by the way he was specifically made to represent a certain popular configuration of a certain popular reptilian commander!
He has a jaguar charm embedded in his chin, and a necklace of feathers, bones and beads .... (cough cough)

The only thing I don't like is the chunky ghila monster tail, but not nearly enough to make me dislike the model. Great stuff

Thought about going each way -- skinny tail or big muscular -- and a trip to the reptile house convinced me to go muscular. A book I picked up there told me that the biggest, oldest, most healthy reptilians have thick sturdy tails, so an old blood would not have the weedy tail that most Saurus seem to have.
Funny avatar BTW. I have to change mine to something a little more SFish.

It isn't really a bad decision, but it does highlight the uneven scales on the tail, which may or may not turn people off to it. I still think it is a great mini.
