So I am building a SW army, when I paint their shoulder pads in sunburst yellow, the paint will be kind of blotchy and I have to put several coats on. Have you guys noticed any way to prevent this?
Thx Invin

Yellow can be a hard color to control.

Thin layers and build up slowly. Start with a light brown and build up in thin layers, getting lighter in color until you get to sunburst yellow.

For my space wolves I put a layer of white on first and then went over with the yellow, worked ok for them

Shake this square world and blast off for kicksville.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

I find snakebite leather lightens black undercoats well enough for yellow/white - out of the older paints, but with the new foundation paints it doesn't matter as much at all.
