Where can I get printable blank decal sheets? Is there a special type of ink or pigment to be used on the decal sheet? Thank you

I assume you mean print a white decal image?

Hmmm... tricky. I've never heard of white inkjet cartridges.

You could make an outline of your white marking in a contrasting colour. Paint white onto the model where the decal will be placed. The decal will act as a mask to let the white paint through the outline.

As the other poster said, you print an outline of your image, and put it over a white background.

White decal paper looks like you took sticky paper and glued it on to your figures. It does not work. Don't believe anyone else or any articles you may read saying otherwise.....I've spent the time and money trying all the methods and it just didn't work.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

You can buy White ink cartridges, they just aren't usually carried in most business stores, try a printer specific store, they may not be able to sell it to you but they most likely be able to print you up a copy.

I made my own decals for my Flesh Tearers (white saw blade on black background). I bought the blank white transfers from Micromark in the States (micromark.com)

You can make 'white' decals by printing on white decal paper, but making sure to include a border around the image. My transfers were the saws inside a black square. I cut around the saws, leaving some of the black. I applied them to the models (onto a gloss varnish on the pad) with decal setting, and then decal softening solution (micromark has a great kit). Then I blended in the edge of the black with the black shoulder pad with a little paint, applied a flat coat to the pad to finish it. It looks perfect.

*edit* You might want to ask this in the Painting and Modeling forum, you might get more answers

You can also look into getting custom decals printed for you, there are some companies that do that. Also, companies like Armorcast have a very good lineup of decals where you might find something you like.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

BoLS also provides instructions and several types of decals to be printed off. They've made several in the past ranging from Eldar Titan decals to the more obscure Marine chapters.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.
