Looking for some info on the Thousand Sons during/shortly after the Horus Heresy.

I know the Thousand Sons pre-Heresy wore red/gold armor. I recall old Space Marine/Epic pics with a red army waving around banners with "M" on them (Brotherhood of a Thousand now I guess).

When did the Sons move to the blue armor? Was it before or after the Rubric of Ahriman was cast? I know the Sons went to the Planet of the Sorcerers before the Rubric. Was that when they redid their colors? Was it before then?

Was there much action during the Heresy by the Sons between the time they fled Prospero and the Emperor ended up in his Throne. If there was, where would I find info on that? I only have one of the BL Heresy art books and was thinking about a project involving the 4 stages of the Thousand Sons: pre-heresy, heresy, pre-rubric, post-rubric.

Thanks in advance.

So the stages would be red and gold, red and gold, horrible mutated red and gold and finally blue and gold.

Thanks Symbio Joe. I must be missing the part in the wiki entry Flachzange provided that stated when the color change occurred.

Between the end of the Space Wolves assault on Prospero and the final assault on Terra.

Penetrating so many secrets, we cease to believe in the unknowable. But there it sits nevertheless, calmly licking its chops.
