Look in the movement phase section of the rule book. Most of it is in there. Standar infantry moves 6 inches a turn (15.24 cm). Jump infantry can move twice that as can vehicles. The rest of the movement modes are listed under "unit types".

Threads should be like skirts: long enough to cover what's important but short enough to keep it interesting.

This is a question probably better suited to the Discussion section but here's my input... It would be the same (6 inches or about 15cm) for warriors, immortals, pariahs, and lords on foot. Wraiths, Destroyers, and Scarabs follow the rules for Jetbikes in the Movement section of the 40K rulebook and I believe that Monoliths are Pondorous Skimmers, but don't qoute me on that.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
