I don't know about the rest of you, but I have been looking forward to Battlefront's shift to the eastern front with a focus on Operation Bagration with great anticipation!

They just put up new spotlights for the new Soviet 8th Guards Rifle Battalion army box, a Soviet Udarny (shock) rifle battalion box, and the new PT-34 mine rollers.


Barring a few super-sized SMGs I think they look really good. It's weird but for some reason the clip-fed PPSh's look really big, but the drum-fed ones look more normal. It might just be me though, I'm sure I'll get a better grasp of the scale as I see them more in the coming weeks. I really like the new poses, especially the firing poses and the special weapons (AT rifles slung over shoulders, Maksim HMG being pulled, etc.). I'd like to pick up the Udarny Strelk box, just 'cause they're so nice, but I already have a ton of infantry as it is. We'll just see what the rest of the Bagration releases have in store.


The second half of the month sees the release of the German 78. Surmkompanie army box and company box, so I'm excited to see what's included in both of those!
